ABOUT S&B FILTERS

Over 30 years ago S&B Filters started with a simple mission: "to become a manufacturer of the most technically advanced high performance filter on the market".

S&B's commitment to the race community allowed them to develop products that featured incredibly high efficiency ratings and tremendously low airflow restriction.

They busted knuckles with the best engine builders of the day to deliver a product that supplied what they were craving: a filter that delivered performance advantages without sacrificing engine protection. They succeeded by keeping their production capabilities on the front-edge of technology, and never, ever wavering from the goal of producing a high performance air filter that tests better than any other manufacturer. And even today, S&B is pushing the other manufacturers to test to our standards.

How can S&B offer such a great deal? Easy, they actually manufacture their parts. Their competitors are more expensive because they purchase some or all of their components from other companies which drives up the price. S&B's MILLION MILE LIMITED WARRANTY

S&B Filters' Warranty Policy

All applicable S&B products are emissions-tested and certified in 50 states and are backed by our warranty policy which is outlined below.

Million Mile Warranty

All S&B OEM replacement air filters and intake kits are covered under the warranty for defective materials or workmanship for one million miles. The million mile warranty is limited to S&B branded OEM replacement filters and intake kits. If for any reason your high performance filter should fail due to workmanship or defective materials, the original consumer who purchased the S&B Air Filter or Intake Kit must simply provide proof of purchase to be eligible for the warranty. In order to maintain the S&B warranty, you must use the S&B Precision Cleaning & Oiling Kit (part # 88-0005 or 88-0007) to service the filter. Furthermore, the filter must be serviced according to the directions included with part numbers 88-0005 or 88-0007.

Warranty Conditions

Product returned for warranty resolution must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number obtained in advance from an S&B customer service representative. S&B will be the final authority on all warranty decisions. The original consumer who purchased the S&B product must also provide proof of purchase to be eligible for the warranty. Those S&B products used in any type of racing or for off-road use are not covered by the warranty. S&B products that are modified or that are used on custom applications are also not covered. Products made and/or sold by S&B on a private label basis are also not covered by the warranty. This warranty shall not apply to any unit which has been improperly stored or installed; subjected to misapplication, improper operating conditions, accidents, or neglect; or which has been improperly repaired or altered or otherwise mistreated by the owner or his agent.

Warranty Coverage

S&B Filters, Inc. (S&B) warrants to the original purchaser that any parts purchased shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. A defect is defined as a condition that would render the product inoperable. This warranty does not cover deterioration of plating, paint or any other coating. S&B's liability is limited to the repair or replacement, at S&B's option, of any warrantable product returned prepaid with a complete service history and proof of purchase to the factory. A valid proof of purchase is a dated bill of sale. Repaired or replaced product will be returned to the customer freight collect. Accepted warranty units which have been replaced become the sole property of S&B. Mileage is not a factor. All S&B products are subject to the provisions stated herein regardless of mileage. Except as set forth in this warranty, S&B disclaims any implied warranty, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. S&B also disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to, repair labor, rental vehicles, hotel costs or any other inconvenience costs. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, and shall not extend to any consumer or to any person other than the original purchaser residing within the boundaries of the continental U.S. or Canada. Warranty does not cover conditions where heat-damage resulted due to overly-rich fueling conditions.

Procedure for Returns

Please call (800) 358-2639 for obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) for all returns. In preparation of your parts for shipment, please write the RMA number on the outside of the box in large letters and be sure to include a copy of the original invoice in the package. Package your parts carefully as S&B is not responsible for products that are damaged during shipment back to S&B. Return the package(s) with the freight prepaid to:
