With so many choices in the tuning market today, it's hard to imagine how one could rise to the top. But that is exactly what the Edge Evolution has done. By combining the earth crushing power that Edge is known for, along with the quality and dependability that made Edge one of the most trusted bands of tuners in the world, the Edge Evolution is the top-dog in the tuning world.
The Edge Evolution product line is available for both diesel and gas vehicles, and even includes the Edge Evolution Racing tuner option, which makes huge power gains for race or competition vehicles that have modified free-flowing exhaust systems. Like most tuners on the market today, the Edge Evolution plugs into your vehicles OBD2 port in order to modify and improve almost every characteristic of your vehicles performance. But where most programmers are unplugged and put back in the box, the Edge Evolutions work has only just begun.
The Edge Evolution is available with two screen options. The Edge Evolution CS (Color Screen) comes with a 2.4 inch color monitor, and Edge Evolution CTS (Color Touch Screen) includes a 4.3 inch monitor. Both the Edge Evolution CS and the Edge Evolution CTS monitor remain mounted above the dash (using the included custom mounting pod), and monitor just about every aspect of your vehicles new found power and performance. The Edge Evolution can monitor up to 8 pids at a time, and include things like EGT's, Turbo Timer, Cylinder Injection Balance to name a few. You can also view your mass air flow, air intake temperature, as well as monitor your DPF system and perform Forced Regen.
The Edge Evolution CS and CTS also include a Maintenance Manager that allows you to customize and manage your vehicle maintenance schedule. With it's larger 4.3 inch color touch screen, the Edge Evolution CTS also includes a video input that allows your Edge Evolution to work hand in hand with the optional Edge Back-Up Camera, which displays your back up camera whenever your vehicle is put in reverse.

Edge has announced the end of production of the first generation Edge Evolution part 15050 for 1997-2003 Ford F-Series 4.6L & 5.4L V8 gas engines. Because of low demand for the older 1st generation application, Edge has decided to transition customers to the new Evolution CS/CTS platform for this vehicle application. This new back up camera for the Edge Evolution CTS is waterproof, durable, and virtually invisible, and is easy to install. It simply plugs into the Edge Evolution CTS monitor's video input. The Evolution CS and CTS has the same great features and benefits that you expect from Edge Products, along with many other additional features. The Evolution CS and CTS comes packed in new-style ruggedized cases and includes a universal system for window mounting (included) or custom pod (accessories available from Edge) for that "factory" look. The Evolution CS and CTS also supports Edge's MyStyle software, and that will allow users to create or load any custom image of their choice as the screen background. With the MyStyle software, consumers can customize their product to suit their style. We're very excited to announce the release of our latest Evolution programmer for the 2007.5+ GMC 6.6L Duramax. This Evolution has all the great features and benefits customers have come to expect from our revolutionary Evolution line, including: custom dash pod, EGT probe (included), simple installation, and real-time monitoring of engine information. But this Evolution also displays diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration status and boasts a solid 85 HP and 200 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. The unit is Internet updateable and adjusts the speed limiter and for non-stock tire sizes to display true speed.
We at Edge Products are continually working on expanding coverage for our line of powerful programmers and in-line modules. Our latest effort has increased application coverage for our popular Chevy Evolution programmer to cover gas-powered 2008 model trucks. Best of all, the product uses the same part number for the existing 2007 Chevy gas Evolution. This means that if you currently have a 2007 Chevy gas Evolution in stock, you (or a purchasing customer) can update it online to cover 2008 model Chevy trucks. With more application coverage, be sure to put in an order to stock more so you can keep up with demand for these popular late-model trucks.
The Edge Evolution CS has a 2.4" color screen. Operation of the programmer is done using the buttons on the left side to navigate the unit. The Edge Evolution CTS has a larger 4.3" Color Touch Screen. This larger screen offers more usable working area for gauges. The Edge Evolution CTS also comes with video jacks, allowing the CTS monitor to work in conjunction with the optional Edge Back Up Camera, which is displayed anytime the vehicle is put into reverse.
Only the Edge Evolution Racing Tuner will remove the DPF command from the vehicles computer. This feature is available in the Edge Evolution CS (Color Screen) part number 85600, as well as the Edge Evolution CTS (Color Touch Screen) part number 85700.
No, unlike the Edge Juice with Attitude, the Edge Evolution does not allow you to "shift on the fly". The Edge Evolution allows you to choose from multiple tuning options, allowing you to select between mileage towing and performance tuning. Once selected, the tuning can not be changed "on the fly". It can however be changed any time you would like, as long as the vehicle is not running. For "Shift on the Fly" capabilities, check out the Edge Juice with Attitude.
Exhaust gas temperature gauges are important to diesel engines. In fact, aside from running a diesel without oil, or filling the fuel tank with gasoline instead of diesel fuel, few things will damage, or kill, a diesel engine faster than excessive exhaust gas temperature (EGT).
No diesel pickups or motor homes come equipped with a pyrometer as standard equipment to monitor EGT other than Ford's 6.4 L. And even then, the 6.4 owner cannot monitor it himself.

However, situations can occur where the EGT gets too high, which could cause serious engine damage without any warning to the driver. A gauge that displays a diesel's EGT can warn the driver of dangerous conditions before such damage occurs.

If the BUYER sends back a failed unit that is out of warranty and chooses to buy a refurbished unit, the refurbished unit will only carry a 60 day warranty. If the BUYER purchases a new unit at a predetermined discounted rate, it will have the standard 1 year warranty.
Under no circumstances shall the SELLER be liable for any labor charged or travel time incurred in diagnosis for defects, removal, or reinstallation of this product, or any other contingent expenses.
Under no circumstances will the SELLER be liable for any damage or expenses insured by reason of the use or sale of any such equipment.
This warranty is VOID for any new products purchased through auction websites. WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY FOR NEW PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH AUTHORIZED DEALERS (proof of purchase required for all warranty claims).
